Welcome to the Grove Road Community Primary School Website
On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to warmly welcome you to Grove Road Community Primary School’s website.
As a community, we are incredibly proud of our unique children, supportive parents, inspirational staff and forward-thinking governors, where we all work together to make Grove Road a safe, happy and fun place to learn.
At the heart of our School lies a learning community that embraces every opportunity to offer an exciting, social, multi-cultural and pioneering educational experience for each and every one of our learners.
It is a great privilege to be the Headteacher at Grove Road. Never a day goes by without me being grateful for the tremendous efforts of our staff and the super relationships that exist with our pupils.
Our dedicated team are fun, friendly and motivated to ensure that each learner is stretched and that they experience fulfilment in learning every single day.
Our philosophy of learning, delivered through our broad and rich Grove Road Curriculum, creatively embraces the essence of our vision to instill in our children the knowledge, skills and values to be confident, resilient, independent and successful life-long learners. Our school regularly showcases its learning to visiting schools from across the UK.
I hope that this website informs and involves parents about their child’s experiences at Grove Road and demonstrates why everyone is so proud to be part of it. We truly value the fantastic partnership of our families; it is a genuine and productive relationship, which ensures our children get the very best care, attention and support.
To get a true sense of what it means to be a pupil at Grove Road, and a member of Team GR, however, I encourage you to come for a visit and take a look for yourselves, and share in my excitement.
If you would like to book a tour of the school or talk to a member of the team, please contact our office on 01423506060 or email email@example.com
Mr Chris Parkhouse, Headteacher
